Mines
In 2014 from our mines 6.158.402 [t] coal were excavated. For the purposes of the thermal power plant from the mine Suvodol 5.253.300 [t] were excavated, while from mine Brod Gneotino 627.499 [t]. For the purposes of the mine Oslomej - West 270.923 [t] coal were excavated, and local Star Rudnik which is part of the former mine Oslomej - East this year has enabled the delivery of 6.680 [t] coal with discontinued machinery.

Consumption of coal and mazut (fuel oil) for the production of electricity
For the production of 3.506,4 GWh in thermal power plants was spent
Coal ........................ 6.450.584,00 [ t ] or 1,84 kg/kWh
Fuel oil ........................ 41.173,00 [ t ] or 11,74 gr/kWh
Production of thermal power plants compared to 2013 is achieved with 162.387 [t] less carbon [2.46%], and 10.338 [t] more oil [33.53%] compared to the consumption in 2013. Increased consumption of fuel oil results from unfinished modernization of boilers in REK Bitola and lower quality of coal that can be seen from the calorific value of coal expressed in kJ / kg.
