Mines
In 2015, our mines have excavated 6,777,958 [t] coal. For the needs of the TPP in the mine "Suvodol" 4,487,447 were excavated, while from the mine "Brod - Gneotino" 2,099,434 [t] coal. For the needs of the TPP "Oslomej" from the mine "Oslomej - West" 191.077 [t] coal has been excavated, and from the local "Old mine" which is part of the former mine "Oslomej - Istok" this year there is no coal mine excavation.

Consumption of coal and fuel oil for electricity generation
For The production of 3,092.7 GWh in thermal power plants the following quantities were spent:
Coal ........................ 5.832.535,00 [t] or 1.89 kg / kWh
Fuel oil ........................ 39,197.00 [t] or 12.67 gr / kWh
Production from thermoelectric plants compared to last year was achieved with 618,049 [t] less coal [9,58%] and 1,976 [t] less fuel oil [4,8%] compared to the quantities consumed in 2014. Consumption of fuel oil is the result of the unfinished modernization of the boilers in REK "Bitola" and the reduced quality of coal that can be seen from its calorific value expressed in kJ / kg.
