Mining equipment for mines in REK "Bitola"
• Request for expressing interest to international institutions (foreign commercial banks) for financing the project (procurement of mining equipment and drainage) was sent together with government guarantee. After receiving the bids, the most favorable lender was selected.
• A detailed technical specification for the equipment was developed as part of the tender documentation.
Coal mine bearing Zhivino
• An agreement has been signed with a design house for the preparation of a major mining project for opening, preparing and exploitation of the coal from Zivojno with pit and surface technology.
The mine "Mariovo"
• A procedure has been initiated for the selection of a consultant for the preparation of a feasibility study for the transport of coal from the mine "Mariovo" to REK "Bitola".
Coal deposits Panchevo - Berovo, Zvegor - Stamer Delchevsko, Lavci - Resensko and Piskupshtina - Struga
• A detailed geological exploration project for Piskupshtina - Struga was developed;
• Selected contractors for performance and supervision of detailed geological explorations of Pancherevo, Berovo;
• Contractors for performance and supervision of detailed geological explorations of Zvegor - Stamer, Delcevo were selected;
• Contractors for performance and supervision of detailed geological explorations of Lavci, Resen;
• concessions for detailed geological explorations were obtained for the three locations;
• Geodetic elaborates with numerical data on coal deposits Zvedgor-Stamer, Pancherevo and Lavci were developed;
• Public hearings were held in the municipalities of Delchevo, Pehchevo and Resen for the coal deposits of Zvegor-Stamer, Pancherevo and Lavci.
Environmental protection in and around - REK "Bitola"
• A six-month report on the implemented activities in the area of environmental protection in REK Bitola was prepared for the needs of the loan agreement for revitalization and modernization of REK Bitola with Deutsche Bank.
