Hydroelectric Power Plants
HPP "Boshkov Most"
• A procedure for approval of urban planning documentation has been implemented;
• Strategic evaluations of urban documentation for village Selce and planning documentation for the project have been made;
• Additional analyzes have been made of compliance with EBRD biodiversity policies;
• Preparation of urban documentation for connection to the EPS;
• A study was carried out to assess the impact on aquatic biodiversity;
• A summary report covering various measures for reducing the environmental impact of the project has been developed;
• An compensation and compensation plan has been developed in accordance with the EBRD's environmental procedures;
• A landscape management plan was developed;
• A translation into English from the SEA for the Boshkov Most project has been obtained;
• An extension of the Decision for granting consent for the implementation of the project from the MoEPP has been obtained;
• Hydrological measurements were conducted in cooperation with the EBRD in order to provide confirmation of the hydrological basis for the development of the project;
• Expert mission of the representatives of the Berne Convention, the proposals of the Standing Committee of the Berne Convention on the Construction of HEC in the NP Mavrovo have been adopted;
• Consent for connection to the transmission network has been obtained;
• A preparatory work project was developed;
• Geodetic report for KP was prepared for preparatory work;
• Geodetic reports were prepared for the village of Selce, village Rosoki and village of Tresonce for UPS.
Revitalization of HPP - third stage
• A report on the newly defined project "Revitalization of HPP - Phase III" was started with an initial assessment of the necessary equipment and construction works.
HPP "Cebren" and HPP "Galishte"
• Preparation of technical information for the HEC projects "Galishte" has been started.
Dam "Lukovo Pole" and catchment of Korab Waters
• An Environmental Impact Assessment Study has been prepared - SEA;
• A cross-section of realized and remaining activities based on the contract with the consultant for the preparation of a basic project has been prepared.
Vardar Valley
• Technical information for hydropower utilization of the water potential of the river Vardar was developed;
• A project task was elaborated for the preparation of a new pre-feasibility study for hydropower utilization of the water potential of the Vardar River;
• Preparation of tender documentation for preparation of a pre-feasibility study has started.
Upgrade of HPP "Spilje"
• The draft of the feasibility study was prepared;
• An elaborate for the environmental impact assessment was developed;
• Final version of the feasibility study in English and Macedonian has been submitted.
Utilization of the water from the HPP "Raven" to the accumulation "Kozjak"
• Preparation of technical information for the project for optimal utilization of the water from the HEC "Raven" to the accumulation "Kozjak" has been started;
• Communication with the KfW Bank (KfW on the possibility of financing the project has been established.
HEC "Globochica 2"
• Technical information was prepared for the project "Globochica 2";
• A draft version of the optimization analysis of HES "Crn Drim" has been carried out
Seismic monitoring and seismic activity at sites of existing and future dams
• LOT 1: seismic monitoring of existing dams and locations for new dams in AD ELEM;
• LOT 2: seismic activity - induced seismicity of the dams "Kozjak", "Sveta Petka" and the location Belitsa;
• Conducting the works for seismic monitoring - maintenance and servicing of instruments for registration of strong earthquakes are installed on the dams: "Mavrovo", "Spilje", "Globocica", "Tikves", "Kozjak" and "Sveta Petka" , and on sites of future dams: "Veles", "Chebren", "Krivolak" and "Gradec";
• Conducting activates for seismicity - induced seismicity of the dams - Kozjak, Sveta Petka and the location Belitsa;
• Harmonization of the necessary technical documentation with the Publications Department of the Public Procurement Division.
Consulting services in the areas related to the current and investment operations of AD ELEM
• Contracts for consulting services have been concluded with the following institutions: Faculty of Civil Engineering, Skopje, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Skopje, FEIT, Skopje and FTPN Shtip for providing consulting services in the areas related to the current and investment operations of
AD ELEM. Realization of the contracts is for the period 05.11.2013 - 05.11.2016.• Participation in a working body for the implementation of the contracts.
Consultant (expert) services were performed which actually refer to giving appropriate opinions on all phases of characteristic phases: construction, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technologies and mining. In that direction, project assignments, project programs, reports, research programs, revisions of elaborates, field measurements, laboratory tests and other services were prepared in accordance with the contractual obligations.
