During 2015, Trainings - e-learning, face to face - for energy planning within the MAK 2006 project with the IAEA were held. The trainings were held by experts from the Agency (IAEA) who with their dedication and professionalism were beneficial for the experts in ELEM, and trained our staff on a solid, high level. From this issue came an internal report on energy consumption planning and production by 2040, which in the coming years will be used as a basis for further work. The purpose of this report is to bring the energy planning to a higher level, and at the same time update it with the latest data and projects that will result from its application, as well as the continuation of the planning period.

A Study of seismicity at locations Mariovo, Krivolak, Mantovo and Tikves.
Preparation and application for the IAEA project - Vienna for technical assistance for the project cycle 2016/2017 on topic: "Support for the development of a nuclear energy program in the Republic of Macedonia ". The project is approved by the IAEA.
Starting (preparing) a program for informing the public through presentations, interviews, workshops, etc.
Participation in several seminars and trainings, among which more significant are:
Getting acquainted with and learning to work with energy planning using MAED and MESSAGE models through energy, faculty training (E-learning and face-to-face);
Getting acquainted with methods and procedures for financing large energy facilities (holding a workshop attended by 3 renowned experts from the world and 30 local experts);
Organizing workshops for exchanging experiences on nuclear energy in different countries in the region (Slovenia, Bulgaria), which, in turn, are of interest for the nuclear program in the Republic of Macedonia;
Technical visit to the NEC "Krsko" where the experience in the exploitation of the NEC was presented, as well as the activities for the construction of a new NEC "Krsko" 2;
Participation in a technical meeting for a national position where the status of a number of countries was presented in terms of energy planning.
